Poynton is a small town located in Cheshire in the North West of England. It is a town with an authentic village feel with its stunning high street including a range of fresh and vibrant bars, restaurants, and places to shop. With easy access via trains and car journeys to Macclesfield, neighbour Stockport, and Manchester City Centre, there are also the more rural and scenic walks to visit. 

Poynton nestles in the linings of the Peak District, making it the perfect area for a refreshing trek along the Cheshire grassland and lakes.

Only 20 minutes away from Manchester, it is an easy commute if you’re looking to live somewhere that is rural yet close to the city. However, this is a place that is better suited for families with older children or couples as there aren't a lot of things to do for young adults and children.

If you’re looking for an affordable travel option, there are a few bus services that can take you around Poynton and the surrounding areas. From Poynton, you can jump the 891 service which takes you to Stockport and from their bus station you can jump a couple of different services into Manchester City Centre which is great for a wider range of leisure activities.
